The resources generated will be used to advance the educational opportunities and leadership skills of all public school students within District #299 by raising funds for instructional programs, academic events, and student scholarships.
The Foundation meets the first Monday of each month. Please contact a director with any input or feedback.

DISTRICT 299 FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The District 299 Foundation Scholarship Application is available to all graduating seniors at Caledonia Area High School. Applications may be picked up in the Student Services Office. All applications must be postmarked by April 5th. Scholarships will be announced at Awards Night on May 21st.
WARRIOR MINI GRANTS
District 299 staff are able to apply for Mini Grants for up to $500.00. These Mini Grants provide a “little extra something” that the students would otherwise not be able to benefit from.
Each year over $15,000 is dispersed from the Foundation for classroom mini-grants and scholarships.
Foundation Mini-Grant Guidelines:
- Due dates will be in October 24th and Mid January. Teachers will be notified by email of the date.
- Applications and Requisitions must be sent via email to: 299foundation@cps.k12.mn.us
- Caledonia Area Public Schools grades K-12, as well as Early Childhood Family Education, Early Childhood Special Education and School Age Care programs. Clubs, sports and groups that meet outside the school day may not apply for mini-grants unless the requested items can be used as part of the curriculum
- Applicants must fill out the linked “Foundation Warrior Mini-Grant Application” form.
$100 CLASSROOM REIMBURSEMENTS
District 299 teachers are able to apply for up to $100 beginning of the year reimbursements for classroom supplies. This reimbursement is to go towards supplies that teachers otherwise spend out of their own pocket. The beginning of the school year can be an expensive time and we hope to help with that.
$100 Reimbursement Guidelines:
- Due date is end of the day: September 30.
- Applications and receipts emailed to: 299foundation@cps.k12.mn.us
- Applicants must fill out the linked $100 Classroom Reimbursement form.
