CAPS CARE POSITION AVAILABLE
CAPS Care is Hiring! Caledonia Area Public Schools is looking for a full-time toddler room aide to start immediately. All positions must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of employment. Discount on child care for CAPS Care staff members. Benefits if working more than 30 hours per week. Benefits include health, life, and long-term disability.
Aide requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Hourly pay range: $14.37-$17.95 depending on experience
- Experience in child care, preferred

SPECIAL EDUCATION PARAPROFESSIONAL POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Caledonia Area Public School District #299 has openings for full-time special education paraprofessionals for the 2024-2025 school year. We are looking for patient individuals who enjoy working with children and who work well with others. Applicants need to meet the highly qualified requirement of having an associate’s degree, 60 college credits or passing the ParaPro or Paraeducator exam upon hire. The district will provide training for those taking the exam. The hiring range is $16.08 – $19.92 per hour depending upon qualifications and experience. Benefits include life insurance, LTD, health insurance, 403(B), and paid time off. On-site daycare is available at a discounted rate, provided there are openings. This position offers the availability to have the same days off as students and hours similar to the school day. Caledonia Area Public School District has an opening for a School Social Worker, School Counselor, or School Psychologist. JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER TEACHER
Caledonia Public Schools is searching for a teacher to run the Houston County Juvenile Detention Center learning program. The hire will work from the Houston County Juvenile Detention Center at the Houston County Courthouse. The Houston County JDC can hold up to eight students for up to eight days (school days). Special Education licensure is preferred, but not required. The teacher/District will apply for the Cross-Curricular Delivery Permission required by the Professional Educator Licensing Standards Board. The Houston County JDC School will follow the Caledonia Area Public School Calendar. EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR POSITION AVAILABLE
Caledonia Area Community Education currently has an opening for a part-time ECFE Early Childhood Educator. Early Childhood licensure required but a variance may need to be approved through the Minnesota Department of Education if not appropriately licensed. Previous experience is a plus. CROSSING GUARDS ON HIGHWAY 44/76
Caledonia Area Public Schools is looking for crossing guards located on Highway 44/76. These shifts can be flexible in that you can work the morning, afternoon or both shifts. Hours will be approximately 7:35 a.m. until 8:15 a.m. for the morning shift and 2:40 p.m. until 3:15 p.m. for the afternoon shift. You will be paid $13.73 for each shift in the morning and afternoon. LICENSED AND SUPPORT STAFF SUBSTITUTE POSITIONS AVAILABLE
