SPECIAL EDUCATION PARAPROFESSIONAL POSITION AVAILABLE
Caledonia Area Middle/High School has an opening for a full-time special education paraprofessional. We are looking for patient individuals who enjoy working with children and who work well with others.  Applicants need to meet the highly qualified requirement of having an associate’s degree, 60 college credits or passing the ParaPro or Paraeducator exam upon hire. The district will provide training for those taking the exam.  The hiring range is $16.08 – $19.92 per hour depending upon qualifications and experience. CAPS CARE IS HIRING
Caledonia Area Public Schools child care center, CAPS Care is looking for a float assistant teacher, or an aide to help in the infant and toddler classrooms. All positions must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of employment. Discount on child care for CAPS Care staff members. Benefits if working more than 30 hours per week. Benefits include health, life, and long-term disability.Â
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Start Date: Monday, February 17th
Assistant Teacher requirements:Â
- Must meet the requirements below OR be willing to work toward required credits.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.Â
- High school diploma required, 2,080 hours as an aide or student intern, and 12 quarter hours of Child Development classes.
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a childcare setting, preferred.
- Hourly pay range: $15.41-$19.06 depending on experience.
Aide requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Hourly pay range: $14.37-$17.95 depending on experience.

PART TIME MSHS NUTRITION ASSISTANT/DISHWASHER POSITION AVAILABLE
Are you energetic, like to work in a fast-paced setting and want to work locally? CROSSING GUARDS ON HIGHWAY 44/76
Caledonia Area Public Schools is looking for crossing guards located on Highway 44/76. These shifts can be flexible in that you can work the morning, afternoon or both shifts. Â Hours will be approximately 7:35 a.m. until 8:15 a.m. for the morning shift and 2:40 p.m. until 3:15 p.m. for the afternoon shift.
